Testimonials
Weightloss Warrior really helped me tone up and stay focused on fitness and well-being.  Walter does the best job at keeping everyone in the group motivated and while working with everyone's own different fitness levels.  Variety is key for me so I don't get bored, and every workout over the past year has differed in some way.

He also helped me with my diet, reminding me to eat healthy and stay on track, explaining how weightloss is a combination of diet and exercise and not just one or the other.  I really saw the effects that training with Walter had on my body and in my energy level for the rest of the day.  Even though waking up early wasn't always the easiest, I felt great throughout the day that I had already gotten my workout in. Walter has a great approach to training, positively pushing and encouraging all of us to do more, push harder and have fun doing it.

"Coach Walter is the best trainer in the Washington, DC area! His dedication and hard work with the Miss DC International Pageant organization has been of tremendous value to not only our current titleholders, but the women of Washington, DC! The outdoor training in our nation's capitol, using the National Mall as training ground, has been a great inspiration for all who witness. He has taught us how to take care of our bodies, and most importantly, live healthy!"

"In today’s society many people equate exercise to obesity.  Well, that is not the case.  I am an Executive who works extensive  hours and although I was a size 6, I was experiencing extreme fatigue, poor endurance  & strength.   My  exercise session with Walter have resulted in a complete rejuvenation of  myself with increased strength, energy, confidence and an “awesome physique.”  A little inspirational quote from me is : with the right trainer it’s amazing how much you transform yourself."

Let me start off by stating that I’ve been an Ultimate Fitness Challenge participant since June 2007.  To say the least, UFC is fantastic!!  I can’t imagine having any other trainer than Walter.  Each session, I could tell that my endurance had increased.  Now, let’s fast forward to the Boot Camp.  All of the training and conditioning I’d learned in UFC was tested at the Boot Camp (and then some).  Unlike UFC, the Boot Camp was longer and there were fewer breaks.  The night after the Friday evening 2-hour session, I was sore (couldn’t even sleep), but could hardly wait for the Saturday session to begin.  I knew that I was going to be in for a workout like I’d never had before.  And indeed I was.  Walter and Shaneild’s program pushed all of my endurance and strength limits for 4 straight hours!!!  I may sound crazy for saying this, but I can’t wait until the next one.  I guess having a Boot Camp every quarter would be pushing it.  Hopefully, there will be one within 6 months or so!!!!

I hate to admit it, but I loved this bootcamp.  What an amazing time. Even if every muscle from my forehead to my pinky toe felt like it was on fire, it was worth it. I enjoyed the way the environment was used for us to have the best workout ever.  Besides the individual gratification that we received for enduring the pain and agony, I enjoyed the comradery that we showed amongst each other. We pushed each other to give the most that we had to give to finish each workout.  If there were another bootcamp this weekend I would be there with a smile on my face and a bottle of motrin in my bag.

"My success came down to keeping a food journal during the weightloss warrior program.  When I saw my pattern of eating (mostly carbs and eating too close to bed time),  I was able to adjust it so that I ate most of my carbs during the morning, and by the evening, tried to eat zero processed carbs.  Even though I felt like I was going through some kind of withdrawal (how dare they take away my bagels!!), I was able to get over the hurdle of craving all the processed carbs and substitute them for fruits and vegetables.  It took a lot of will power, but in the long run, I noticed that I felt lighter, and slept a lot better.  I also have to attribute my success to the exercising goals of the weightloss warrior program, which consisted mostly of cardio.  Because of all the running we did in class, I started running races, and now I feel an extreme accomplishment when crossing those finish lines!  People say nothing comes easy, and it's absolutely true, but putting in all the time and effort, and with the motivation of Walter during the weightloss warrior program, eventually it becomes your lifestyle to eat healthy and take care of your body!"
